EQUITY WORKSHOP TOUR 2025

The Minority Cannabis Business Association’s Equity Workshop Tour fortifies the presence and influence of our members and communities in the burgeoning cannabis sector, while fostering an entire ecosystem dedicated to an equitable industry. Providing a template for structured networking and education, the workshops are designed to foster personal, business, and ecosystem development.

2024’s Tour Highlights: 

23 workshops across the nation, attended by over 1,000 leaders.

200 speakers and facilitators, and Regulators from over 30 Agencies.

Attendees also experienced inspiring words from elected officials, such as Governor Jared Polis (CO), and State Rep Napoleon Nelson, (Chair of PA’s Legislative Black Caucus). With the collective power of over three dozen Partner Organizations, several dozen vetted sponsors, and committed Media Partners, we are ready to level up in 2025. 2025’s Equity Workshop Tour will consist of 30 events nationwide.

We’ll revisit our friends at our previous stops to continue building the ecosystem, while also adding new cities such as New Orleans, Boston, and Washington, DC. 2025 will also see the addition of two “Regional” events and a multi-day Flagship event in Minnesota, as well as another robust workshop in conjunction with CANNRA’s External Meeting, in Denver in June.

The workshops bring together licensees and applicants, ancillary businesses, advocates, and state and local government officials – anyone committed to the development of an equitable industry – in curated settings, ranging from Temple University’s Center for Anti-Racism, to the Penthouse offices of Murphy Falcon Murphy to the cannabis-friendly environs of LazyDaze Coffeeshop and Mary James Cafe.
